hope this Carpenters website will provide the fans with an

Carpenters, as well as an online resource for original information
and current news about any "Carpenters-related"

don't claim to be Carpenters "experts," we're just
fans. There are a number of wonderful fan websites, or just
pages, that give a tribute to the Carpenters in some way,
and we encourage you to visit all of them. If you can't find
the information you're looking for here, one of the other
fan sites or Richard Carpenter's own official site should
have what you want.
We
believe that you don't get much better than the Carpenters,
both in terms of their music and quality of character. There
is nothing wrong with being "squeaky clean" when
you're an individual just trying to create good music and
be a nice person.
We
want to thank both Richard and Karen Carpenter for their wonderful
music and joy that they bring into our lives.

Hi Everyone,
For a long time
I've been a big fan of both Richard and Karen Carpenter, their
music and their quality of character as individuals.
Some of my earliest
"musical" memories in our house were music by artists
like: John Denver, the Seekers, Ed Ames, the Partridge Family,
ABBA and the Carpenters.
My Interest and
appreciation for the Carpenters was rekindled again when I
saw the PBS documentry "Close to You: Remembering the
Carpenters", which I believe originally aired in the
late 90s. Since then, there has once again been a steady stream
of their music in my life.
I hope this website
will provide the casual or die-hard Carpenters fans a reference
for as much information about the Carpenters as can be assembled.
I want this site to be a totally positive and friendly look
at the lives of both Karen and Richard Carpenter.
Even
though I have a lot of information about the Carpenters on
this website, I still don't consider myself to be a Carpenters
"expert". If you need any additional information
